books, and primary sources.
JSTOR was created by William G. Bowen from Princeton University in 1994.
JSTOR content is provided by more than 900 publishers. The database contains more than 12 million journal articles, in more than 75 disciplines.
JSTOR is licensed mainly to academic institutions, public libraries, research institutions, museums, and schools. More than 7,000 institutions in more than 150 countries have access.
Started in 2012, JSTOR offers very limited no-cost access to registered readers.
However, metadata and search engine are open to the public.
